How DOMI eBike Guide creates, reviews, and maintains our content.
Our Promise: Every claim is sourced. Every recommendation is justified against available data. We correct errors promptly and transparently.
How We Create Content
- Research-first approach: Every article starts with real signals — YouTube reviews, Reddit discussions, brand specifications, and community feedback from long-term owners.
- Data verification: Technical specifications are cross-referenced with manufacturer websites, independent lab tests, and user-reported real-world figures. When data is unverified or conflicting, we say so.
- Route guide methodology: Route guides are compiled from GPS tracks, elevation profiles, road condition reports, and community rider feedback — not from a single ride or press trip.
- Regular updates: We revisit articles when prices change, new models launch, reliability patterns emerge, or community feedback contradicts our findings.
Our Sourcing Standards
- Every technical claim includes an inline source link.
- We cite at least 3 unique external sources per article where available.
- YouTube reviews, Reddit threads, brand official sites, and cycling media are all valid sources — we evaluate each on its methodology, not just its conclusion.
- We never fabricate data points, user quotes, or specifications.
- When sources conflict, we present both sides and explain which we find more credible and why.
Recommendation Philosophy
- All recommendations are based on aggregated data: manufacturer specifications, independent test results, community reliability reports, and long-term ownership feedback.
- A product is recommended when the aggregated evidence supports it — not because of affiliate commission structure, brand relationship, or personal preference.
- If the data doesn’t support a recommendation, we say so. We include “Who Shouldn’t Buy This” sections where warranted.
- Affiliate relationships never influence our editorial opinions. If a product is bad, we’ll say it’s bad — affiliate commission or not.
