Editorial Policy

Editorial Policy

DOMI eBike Guide is committed to honest, transparent, and data-driven content. This page explains how we create, review, and monetize our articles.

How we create content

  • Research-first approach: Every article starts with real signals — YouTube reviews, Reddit discussions, brand specifications, and community feedback.
  • Data verification: Technical specifications are cross-referenced with brand websites and independent reviews. When data is unverified, we say so.
  • Real-world testing: Route guides and performance claims are based on actual rides, not manufacturer claims.
  • Regular updates: We revisit articles when prices change, new models launch, or community feedback contradicts our findings.

Our sourcing standards

  • Every technical claim includes an inline source link.
  • We cite at least 3 unique external sources per article.
  • YouTube reviews, Reddit threads, brand official sites, and cycling media are all valid sources.
  • We never fabricate data points, user quotes, or specifications.

Affiliate disclosure

Some articles contain affiliate links. When you click a link and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This helps us buy batteries, brake pads, and the occasional coffee.

We only recommend products we’ve genuinely tested or thoroughly researched. Affiliate relationships never influence our editorial opinions. If a product is bad, we’ll say it’s bad — affiliate commission or not.
